A surface electromyography test, also known as a “Backscan”, is often completed to check spinal nerve function which determines overall spinal health. What Happens After My Chiropractic Adjustment?

If you’ve never been to a chiropractor before, there are some helpful things to know about the treatment, what you’ll feel afterwards, and some things that will help you recover as well as possible. And of course if you have questions, ask your chiropractor!

After your first adjustment – you may experience some soreness because your spine has not experienced that treatment before and it’s already the painful area that is bothering you in the first place.
